Scrapbook

5 Oct

Me and CJ have been talking a lot about getting another dog. Is it weird that it makes me feel like my family’s growing? Anyway, since Penny is pretty much my baby and we might have a fourteen week old on our hands, I’ve decided to start scrapbooking.

Now I’m an old soul, but I’m also from generation Y, so I started making pages on my iPad using Martha Stewart’s CraftStudio. I love it! I’ve purchased a couple of the add on packs and I’ll make pages of events in mine and my family’s life. After I have several pages I will get them printed through Snapfish (hopefully there will be a photobook option by then!) and then I’ll have my scrapbook.

Here’s a couple of the pages I’ve done. I’m dividing my Yearbooks into seasons with a bucketlist to make sure that I’m living life to the fullest.

I imagine the final product to be like a high school yearbook. The first thing everyone does is look for how many times they’re in it. The second thing they do is look for all of their friends. In the same way, I want this yearbook, instead of centering around a high school, to center around me, my friends, and my family.

It’ll be a cool way to look back on all the years. šŸ™‚

And this is my Fall 2012 Bucket list. I planned thirteen things, one for every week of fall. I decided to do this a little after fall started, so I’m going to have to do more than one thing a couple of different weeks, but it will be well worth it.

XO.
